What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have, written in plain language.

01Who we are

Pixel Theory Studio ("we", "us") is a web design, development, automation and marketing studio based in India. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at thepixeltheorystudio@gmail.com.

02Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company, website, the services you are interested in, your budget and timeline, how you found us, and anything you write in your message. If you hire us, we also receive the information needed to deliver and invoice the project.

Information collected automatically. Like any website, the hosting and delivery providers that serve this site may process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages requested. We do not run advertising trackers on this website, and we do not ask you to create an account.

03How we use your information

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals, deliver and support projects, send invoices, keep records, improve this website and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

04Our legal basis

Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent when you submit the contact form or ask us to contact you; performance of a contract when you engage us; our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, where these do not override your rights; and legal obligation where we must keep certain records.

05Cookies and similar technologies

This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Some features load content from other providers, which may set their own cookies or collect technical data: fonts served by Google Fonts, scripts delivered through content delivery networks (cdnjs and jsDelivr), and videos embedded from YouTube, which load only when you choose to play a video.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not stop the website from working.

06Who we share information with

We share personal information only with people who help us run our business and deliver the Services, and only as needed: email and productivity providers (such as Google Workspace), form and automation tools we use to receive enquiries, project and invoicing tools, hosting and CDN providers, and, if we work together through Upwork, Upwork itself. These providers act under their own privacy terms.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, and to a successor if our business is transferred.

07International transfers

We are based in India and work with clients worldwide, and our providers may process data in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards so that your information stays protected.

08How long we keep information

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client. For clients, we keep project records and invoices for as long as required by law, which is usually at least seven years for financial records. When information is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.

09Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to our use of it, withdraw your consent at any time, and receive a copy of your information in a portable format. If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, email us at thepixeltheorystudio@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.

11Children

This website and the Services are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes, we will make that clear on this page.

14Contact us

If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your information, please email us at thepixeltheorystudio@gmail.com.
